Goal: Inspire a culture of safety in the freeride community

Over 100 people die in the Alps every year from avalanche-related incidents. As a Swiss manufacturer of avalanche rescue equipment and ski and snowboard apparel, Mammut is uniquely positioned to raise awareness of avalanche risks and the need for further education. To do this, Mammut partnered with Sherpas Cinema to tell the real stories of close calls and what the survivors have learned about risk management in avalanche terrain.
I was project lead and copy editor on this rewarding project, working closely with the lead copywriter, Alex Phillips from The Business of Sweat to bring this story to life. Below is the link to the main film as well as screenshots from the execution across Mammut’s digital channels.
